We are an experienced architecture and design practice, founded by Jordan Bell.  From our regional Victorian studio we design, coordinate and deliver considered architecture, across Geelong, the Surf Coast, Greater Melbourne and beyond.

Jordan brings over twenty years of experience across some of Melbourne and London’s most respected studios, specialising in technically demanding residential, mixed-use, education, commercial & large-scale urban design projects. Seeking a slower pace of life for his young family, in 2024 he returned to his regional roots to establish his own small practice.

Jordan’s personal involvement in every project is a core operating principle of JBA, and by consequence we take on only a select few projects each year. Through a deeply collaborative process with our clients and builders, we carefully distil a project down to its most material qualities and experience, to deliver architecture that is restrained, responsive to our client’s ambitions and, equally respectful of their budget. It’s what we like to call design, for good.
